Got my Mom one of these new Mustangs about two years ago. No problems so far and its had several hundred rounds through it. Sounds like it might be a lemon. I know two others with new Mustangs and they run fine. Did you strip it prior to shooting?
Second trip, my son completely cleaned and lubed it before she shot it. We thought that could be the prob.

We all 3 shot it. Because I thought it coulda been limp wristing.
Colt still have it?
He got it back the other day. It was real dirty and had an idiot mark on it. He called Colt and they said send it back...... he is not a happy camper. I didn't see the gun before he sent it back again.

Update: I found out he did not return the gun, we took it out today and worked fine. They polished feed ramp and replaced extractor. Guess he'll live with the idiot mark.
Wow, sent you back a dirty gun and scratched it???? Unbelievable for Colt...or any other company as well.
