On gunbroker.com someone just paid $157 (not including shipping) for 2 boxes of Federal 22lr ammo (Federal Champion 22LR, 36Gr, Copper Plated, Hollow Point, 1260 FPS) that was selling for about $22 before the run. As long as people will pay that amount, the run will continue. People are buying massive amounts to resale, or hoard. If no one paid these silly prices, the run would soon end.
