Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

I thought Depp was pretty good in Fear and Loathing all things considered, though I don't like most of his films. Nobody could "be" Hunter, but it was pretty good IMO.

That and Blow are about the only things I like Depp in, though.

Jaws (any)
Dirty Harry (or most of Clint Eastwood's films)
Rocky (I've seen at least one, but meh)

Movies I've seen that everybody loves and I don't understand why:

Indiana Jones movies
Die Hard movies
The Matrix (I've seen the first one and thought it was just stupid)

The reason I don't like Indiana Jones, Die Hard, and other movies of the like is because of the corny one-liners. I guess I've only got room for 1 movie with corny one-liners and that is "They Live".
