The criminal elements related to bootlegging were certainly mitigated once prohibition was removed.
It made a lot of gangsters/bootleggers rich and increased violent crime. That's about all it did.

When was Meth, Crack, ect ever legally allowed? I can see some of the base componets of them being used for various reasons, but never heard of the drugs we know now ever being allowed.

The people we choose to run are government have no right to give something they don't have. I can't loan you $100 bucks if I don't have it. I can't take your
money and give it to someone else. I don't have the right. And because rights come from God not government, we as the people give the rights to government. Here is the twist. I'm on welfare. I stay at home with my son. My wife works. We get less than 100 bucks in food stamps. We don't drink or do drugs. My son is well behaved. Has a head start on school because I work with him everyday. All of the systems we are under are faulty programs. I will home school my son. I will due what it takes NOW to get are family in a good spot later. I'm going back to school. So you ask how can a man of such principles take part of a system I don't believe in? Simple, I worked sense I was 12 and paid into every messed up system and 30+% in taxes while google and other huge corps pay 1% and I will never see any Social Security or anything else. Or are great Fed reserve system will print my check "that I paid into" down to nothing with "quantitative easing" and take away my ability to invest in gold.(almost illegal now to trade gold) I have not seen many talk about the root of the problems we face as a nation. We are not socialists we do not have a democracy we are a Republic and that can't change. It has and that's why were talking about this in the first place. Will I pee for free food hell ya I will. They already have my finger prints, DNA, bio metric scans, and my heat signature. Little late to care now. Anyone who did or does have been branded a kook. Any group that trys to go of the grid and stay out of the system gets infiltrated, framed, or raided for anything from having raw milk to automatic weapons all within are rights but out of reach due to the lazy eye's of are elders.
