I was curious what is the earliest and the latest you have seen bucks chasing does/or breeding does.
earliest and Latest that you have seen bucks with tongues out

Latest I've seen was Dec 6th he was chasing a doe. Of course after I shot him and my son shot the doe, we discoverd that his jaw was broken. I was glad I got him before he suffered through starvation.
i think for me was around the 28th of November. but as early as the 12th.
Earliest chasing: October 25th-ish.
Latest chasing: December 5th.
The rut drags on forever in my area, too many does and not enough bucks I guess. Peak activity as far as seeing bucks on the move usually falls between Oct. 31st and Nov. 14th. Last year peak activity was Halloween weekend, this year the most activity was a week or so later than last year.
