We do not have a right to privacy. Name the Amendment to the Constitution that gives you such a right.

The Holy Constitution gives no rights to any person. For that matter, if it could apply to anyone it would only apply to the men who signed their name to it. It is a general principle of law and reason, that a written instrument binds no one until he has signed it or put his mark to it (if he can't write). Since none of us signed that instrument... we're not bound to it and never have been.

Would that be the purpose of the Pledge of Allegiance ?

We're all human in the end. They kill each other, like we do and they kill us like we kill them.
We just happen to be here in our burger'n'porn utopia while they're stuck in a sandy shi+pit somewhere.

Sooo true. The last paragraph is probably one of the funniest things I have read on the interwebz.

Christianity is not a religion.

Well Sanford would I be non religious given the following.

I don't go to church, not a fan of organized religion, I DO believe in God but I've probably read less than a chapter of the bible in my life yet my philosophy is to treat others how I like to be treated and not do anything Jesus wouldn't do.

I grew up Baptist btw.

Having faith that He created it all, is the only explantion I need, it's really that simple. I know that's hard to imagine in your mind, but it makes everything so simple in mine. I'll answer all the questions you have, but go back and read the bottom of the first post in the thread. My goal here was to debate the freedom to bear arms and the freedom of religion. Every thread ever started on OSA that involves religion ends up locked, I don't want this one to have the same fate, thanks.

http://www.thelibertypapers.org/2008/11/26/the-un-american-pledge-of-allegience/

The pledge of allegiance was written by a christian socialist by the name of Francis Bellamy in 1892. His cousin, Edward Bellamy, was a famous socialist writer that began the nationalism movement that is common today. Both men promoted the move for government to take over education, which we have today as the norm. The pledge served and advanced their nationalist socialist agenda. The original salute to the flag under the pledge was adopted later by Hitler. The pledge supporters changed it to the hand over the heart.

The Constitution was only binding on the 39 men who signed it. Under the concept of privity, a contract or agreement must be signed by the parties involved to be binding upon them (and only the signatories). Also, the contract must be delivered to the signatories. The fact remains that on the general principles of law and reason, if you did not sign a contract, you are not bound to that contract. Thus, the Constitution, a contract, is non-binding on anybody but the 39 who signed it. And they're all long gone.
