I think a deer bumped my cam so it doesn’t point at the feeder now, but the wheat and turnips appear to be doing great. Did broadcast some clover seed, but haven’t been back to check on it yet.
All my plots are looking good, but this one is doing really well. The BFOs really took off, as well as the winter peas and turnips. But I was most pleased to see how much clover I have coming on. If all goes well, this will be a helluva clover plot next fall.
This plot is looking really good too. So good this yearling wouldn’t leave while I was working on the feeder. Also picked some turnip greens to have with my campfire grilled steak tonight.
I don’t have any neighbors who hunt much. There are no green food plots within a mile any direction of me and I only know of one feeder other than mine. That said, when season roles around, this is the toughest competition I face.

I’ve got 80 ac of them. Well, there is also some hickory, black walnut and a few pecans. Which, I’ve got a good crop of pecans this year.

WooHoo!!! I planted my food plot here behind my house in east Texas on Sunday, and I’m getting an unforecasted rain on it right now. 
I wasn’t going to plant the ones at my buddy’s deer lease until next week due to no forecasted rain, but I’m going to go ahead and plant them today.
