Well most all are pumpkin patches, and if you go in early before light, you really can't get far because you don't know where they are - unless they flash a light at you.

It's not really *which* WMA - it's *how far off a road do you get?* within the WMA you choose. Park 2 hours before dark, use your maps/GPS, and walk, walk, walk (away from other roads), if you don't want to be around people.

Having said that, there's tons and tons of turkeys on Ft Cobb WMA, and quite a few deer with all the peanut and other crop fields around. It would be a good spot for archery, as you could likely harvest a turkey. For rifle, I strongly prefer to get private land, or if on public, get way off the beaten path.
