Ya gotta pay if you wanna play!

I think back to 1985 when I had the opportunity to buy an H&K MP-5 for $900.00 and turned it down because it cost too much.

There you go, getting me remembering. Damn it.

I can still hear myself saying "who in their right minds would want a belt fed fully automatic .22" when I saw that lil ole tippman's sitting there.

It was only back in about 1995-1996 you could still find Colt M16A1s in the $3,000-$3,500 price range.

I know what you mean my dad sold his MP5 and M16 in 1995 I think he got 3500 out of the MP5 and 3 out of the m16. I know he kicks himself for that one.

    HGGIW,
I know how you feel, I have waited 25 years for my state to make owning FA's legal to own, and now I will never have the money to have what I want!

Well.... On a school teachers salary I guess it'll have to be SBR's and cans. I just can't justify that kind of cash layout for a full auto firearm. Wish I knew then what I know now...... I would have taken the plunge a long time ago. :explode:

What are you talking about? There are fully transferable (legal to own) 10/22 trigger packs available. Cost is prohibitive, but certainly not illegal.
