Going to Branson for the weekend and then to Tenn. for a couple of weeks.
What is there to see in Tennessee? I have only been there on business and didn't see anything.

I sent my License back to the Feds for a change of address and until I get it back I am not doing any business so don't schedule any transfers or send me any guns till our new store is licensed.

My son is staying here but I am not leaving him the keys to the safes and he does not have the combination to the vault. He is recovering from back surgery anyhow so he doesn't need to go out shooting.

We will start moving in on Sept 1st in hopes that the license will be here by then or soon after and I will let you all know by then what's going on and what kind of grand opening sale we will have.

You don't say where in TN you're heading to, but Bowling Green isn't too far from Nashville if you're into that sort of thing..

There's some BBQ shack in Nashville that everyone told me I needed to goto while I was there - best ribs in the world. Turns out they only do ribs on Thursdays and put coleslaw and pickles on all their sandwiches.. I thought it was sub-par compared to BBQ I've had in the part of the US.

I have nothing else to add of value beyond that (which was free!)

Enjoy the trip!

I've been to Chattanooga several times and it's a very gorgeous and interesting city, to name a few:

Rock City: http://www.seerockcity.com/
Incline Railway (to get to the top of Lookout rather than driving): http://ridetheincline.com/
Tennessee Aquarium (one of the best I've been to): http://www.tnaqua.org/Home.aspx
Ruby Falls: http://www.rubyfalls.com/

There is a battlefield atop Lookout Mountain, as well as Civil War canons still mounted out towards the river area. It's a very awesome city.

I've driven through Nashville, never stopped there, and the only time I've actually been off the highway in Memphis was when we took a wrong turn. That's where I saw my first prostitute.

Stat out of Memphis!! If you get to Nashville go to the Country Music Hall of Fame, The old Ryman Auditorium, And the Grand Ole Opry! That is if you like country music, Then you can go down to 16th ave. and see if you can locate any entertainers!!

I lived in Nashville for about 2 years going to college. Broadway and 2nd is the main entertainment area. There are lots of bars, eating places, and some pretty cool old record shops. This is also where the Country Music Hall of Fame is. Tootsies Orchid Lounge is a must. Nearby is Printers Ally another place full of night life. There is a walking Haunted Nashville tour downtown if your into that sort of thing. The Grand ol Opery is good but I dont know if its reopened yet after the flooding. I know Opery Mills mall is still closed from the floods. The Gaylord Operyland Hotel is a sight to see. The House of Cash in Hendersonville is closed so thats out.
If your a history buff the The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson's plantation is a good place to spend an afternoon. There is the full size replica of the Parthenon complete with the 40ft statue of Athena, in Centennial Park.

Oh and all the strip clubs are full nude and BYOB
