thats the biggest darn water snake i've ever seen!! But looks like a rattler to me.

Looks more like an Eastern Diamondback. Unless they've really expanded their range it was not killed in Texas. Photoshopped? I don't know. Holding it closer to the camera will make it look bigger. Either way, I wouldn't want to be within 2 or 3 feet from it.

When my wife and I were up in Near Devil's Tower in Wyoming we saw a skin of a Rattler that was every bit that big. Darn big snake.
