Finally caught up to this guy. Little to no action for me all muzzleloader. They were chasing today! He came out last 30 minutes of light. He was chasing 4 does hard. 225 yards TC Omega .45 with Nikon BDC.

I made it to the stand at 5:52.... About 25 minutes later than I hoped but given I got 4.5 hours of sleep I'm happy I made it at all. Had two things moving at 5:55 do hopefully it's a good day!

The two fawns (boy and girl) came in literally 1 minute before I was going to pack up and go home because I was too freakin' cold. They stayed between 10 and 20 yards for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and entering the field presented a 6 yard broadside shot. If I'm still deer-less in December then hall passes will be revoked.
