Greatest Sooner Football Games

This list could get long but with football season approaching i wanted to see what the rest of the sooner nation thinks.

For me it is:

1996 vs TX

2000 complete season

2001 vs TX

2003-Present bedlam

2008 vs Tex Tech

Those are just a few, I could name a plethora of more but i wanna hear from everyone else.

I will limit to games I have attended.

1. 2000 Nebraska

2. 2000. Big12 Championship v K. St.

3. 2003 or 2004 Texas AM. 77-0 game.

Worst game... Without a doubt OU v USC in the Orange Bowl. An ass kicking in the big 12 championship to K. St is a close 2nd.

There are many but for me it has to be

1977 Ohio State when Uwe von Schamann kicked game winning field goal at the end of the game AT Ohio State stadium.

This one is special to me as I was overseas in Germany and this game was shown live on Armed Forces TV. First NCAA football game shown live if memory serves.... Up until then we got to watch games ONE WEEK later.

THE Boise State game was my favorite. Not because OU lost either. It was just an awesome game to watch.

2000 Orange Bowl - OU vs Florida State
25,000 of us OU fans drowned out the 50,000 FSU fans. The cheering started 30 min before the game started.
Saw Jimmy Johnson standing in the middle of the field get booed by 25,000 OU fans, he made an a$$ of himself by yelling "Go 'Canes", he then had all 75,000 people booing him.
Oh, and the fact that OU was the underdog and knocked the snot out of FSU.

That was a great game to cap off a great season.

As much as I hate to see my boys lose... that really WAS a great game, and Boise State deserved that win. They played HARD for it.
