one time i set a possum on fire and turned him loose.....guessing they found him, man those things are tuff..

Since the article stated it was a Raccoon, it probably is. Im sure to figure it out all they did was feed it and watch it dip its paws in water while it eats.

Or they could put it near a corn feeder and watch it hang upside down and empty it. That would confirm it was a RACCOON

Best way to confirm is to put it out back at mom and dad's house. Then after it's shot and dead, you throw it in the woods.
