anybody have input on where to to get health insurance for someone who doesn't get it through thier job?

I used ehealthinsurance.com for my wife and daughter. You can enter your info and see policies from several different companies. I found a really good deal that worked for us.

On a serious note, BCBS was good. I have insurance through work now, so I don't know if they are still any good or not though.

From my past experience Blue Cross was the most cost effective with good coverage. Also apply for Oepic and you can get a percentage reimbursed each month.

Yep. BCBS of OK can fix you up. No bargains there, but if you select a fairly high deductable, their PPO plan isn't bad.
