Pro Ears Gold (NRR28) for handguns and the Pro Ears with foam plugs for rifles. Remember, ear plugs only and there is more bone conduction.

I've tried the Surefire's but they just weren't enough. I have some custom molded plugs and they can be a pain to get in and out. I prefer the Howard Leight Impact sports. I keep an extra set on hand in case they die since they are so reasonably priced and work just as well as the much higher priced IMO. For plain old plugs I really like the Radians that CDNN sells. They feel kinda like silcone, fit well, and are easy to get in. Indoors I double up too.

Peltor Tac 6S. Surefire plugs are good in certain situations outdoors, not so much indoors by themselves. May look into the custom plugs for the long guns and the shottys.
