I tried it a few times... bought the glass jars with the spigot in 'em from both Wal-Mart and Atwoods... both leaked. Wasn't worth the $4 to go back.

my 5 yr old makes us a gallon pretty much everyday. the wife let her do it once last summer and now she's the official "tea maker". we just use one of those clear-ish plastic gallon pitchers with the lid that spins around. and we like SWEET tea.
