Not gonna lie, I might react the same. I can only hope rational would keep me from announcing it on the radio. But, who knows how he feels inside. So you know what your clickin on, a man whose son was murdered has vowed to find and kill the man who confessed and was imprisoned. The man killed his son and ate part of his body, but he may now be released after only 28 years for "good behavior".

He would join an elite group of fathers who have visited retribution on their child's murderer or molester. I remember sitting at the dinner table on a platform offshore in the Gulf of Mexico back in the 80s watching news footage of a father at the Baton Rouge airport as he stepped away from a pay phone and point blank shot his young son's molester in the head as he was being escorted by two police officers. He never served a day in jail.

^That was in the 80's and I'll bet that guy didnt tell the world he was gonna do what he did. It was also likely shortly after they caught the guy. He prob claimed temporary insanity for obvious reasons.

I think this guy would have a much harder time arguing that. If someone ate the flesh of my children, I dont think I would have let anyone put them in prison in the first place, and CERTAINLY NO PLEA DEAL. Are effing serious? He ate my kid!!!

And if I were the Judge it would have been a "deferred" sentence...meaning after the 5 years, if he didn't screw up, it would be off his record....like it never happened.

Why even go that far?

The prosecutor should have cited insufficient evidence.

Or the Governor could have immediate granted full pardon on the grounds that he saved the taxpayers a truckload of money.
