They had some good gear there. I bought some nalgene type bottles for $5 each and for the most part the gear and supplies were decently priced. As for their firearms,way overpriced. I would buy gear from them, but look elsewhere for firearms. Thanks everyone for their comments and suggestions...overall it was a good experience.
Where's savage Trading Co.?
What sucks is they're great people. But their firearm and ammo prices are sky high. I remember about a year and a half ago the owner tried to convince me that they had the best deal in town because they offered "layaway". Hmm...I'm pretty sure just about every other gun shop around has it. I bought a Kel-Tec PLR22 at Outdoor America for $272, went over to Savage the next day, $529. Boy, I wanted to make them a great deal on one. I just don't get how there can be that much mark up. We call them GunWorld West.
