Gets me every time.Esp.now since my son has decided to join up after he graduates college in May.
I lasted about 10 seconds before it got to me. I'm not an emotional guy, but that's some powerful stuff there. I'm glad my parents were able to retire soon after I was born. I couldn't imagine one of them not being around especially knowing what the situation is where they might have been.

I was fortunate enough to finish my 21 years in before my babies were old enough to understand what was going on. My heart goes out for those that have to leave their kids for long deployments and risk not coming home at all.
Knowing how I feel about my kids (4) now, there's no way I could stay in.
