Is it socialist or communist?
In both communism and socialism, the people own the factors of economic production. The main difference is that under communism, most property and economic resources are owned and controlled by the state (rather than individual citizens); under socialism, all citizens share equally in economic resources as allocated by a democratically-elected government.
We are currently still under socialism, but headed toward communism which was probably your intent in your comment.

As far as I am concerned socialism ends up as communism in the long run. The main difference between the two is the communists leaders end up with all the guns. I don’t like either.

One thing I have to add to this thread is that our family has been best friends with several international marriage couples. German, Korean and Mexican.
They all did their duty and went through the process to become citizens. As a consequence, they probably know more about our Constitution than most members of OSA and are danged proud to be a legal US citizen.
They are not happy with those flooding across our border after they did it the right way. Probably more angry than most natural born citizens.

I said years ago that we should give them what they want, let most of middle America secede and give the libs "their" territory. When they try to hold back on something we need, we cut off the farm goods, oil/gas, etc until they see fit to trade respectfully. Their economic strategy would tank them in less than 2 generations I suspect, and there would be heads rolling a la France a couple hundred years ago. And if their citizens saw fit to live that way, so be it.
