I don't know about ya'll, but I stack my mags in front of me on the bench. Then as I am blasting the zombies and run out, I drop the mag and slam the guns (I am shooting with both hands here) onto a pair of mags and keep rockin'. One of these days I will find the twinkies...

I think you passed a box in the supermarket. When you met that zombie with a "purty mouth"...

It's not normal to point a handgun at your face. And that video does not contain said face-pointing (it's an optical illusion from the angle of the camera - it's still down-range and away from his face - this is the closest the gun comes to his face on that video that I could see):

I was just refering to the video and it reminded me of the class I took where all instructors tell you to flip the gun sideways to do a mag change.

I'm missing how rotating the gun sideways, to provide a line of site to the magazine well, is the same as pointing it at your face...as you asserted in your OP.

I think part of the confusion comes from the fact that he turned his body sideways to go to the next station while keeping the gun pointed down-range but tilting it up and rotating it on it's side to gain access to the mag-well. This actually looks like it gets close to the 90 degree mark relative to him, but not to the direction of safe/downrange.

He's not holding it in front of him and pointing it straight up/back toward himself (if he was, he's got 10ft long arms - they're going across his body towards the down-range area), he's actually doing a pretty good job of keeping control of the muzzle while moving around.
