I've heard 3 different people now say that there is no proof that the US is actually funding/supplying/supporting the Syrian rebels (at least none they've ever seen).

So I started googling it, but it appears that was a fight between the prez and congress in the first place and I'm having a hard time determining what we actually did provide to the rebels from a legit news outlet (or something citing a credible source).

So, did we?... and if so, what all did we provide?

We were supposed to give them some weapons but it has not happened yet to any real extent. The Saudis and others are supplying them for now.

They admitted in the Senate & House meetings that we were supplying the rebels. they even mentioned recent heavy shipments they should have received. That came from Kerry & the General. The Senators asked specifically about it & it was verified.

What is sickening & scary is the comments I heard on another news broadcast from another country. They just came right out & said what we all fear & feel. They said with Obama pledging help to the rebels & wanting to strike Syria the world is watching a unofficial alliance of the US military & Al Qaeda. You know it's getting bad when other countries are watching this, calling it out & the majority of our own people don't pay enough attention to come to the same conclusion. They also mentioned after the G20 meeting it was apparent to everyone that under the Obama administration America has lost it's clout around the world. They said it was like watching the end of a era of Western power especially in the Middle East. Stating no other country will even bend to an American president again after this. Kinda makes you wonder what other countries will start doing now if we have lost that much respect/authority. According to a article this morning Russia has re-entered their agreement with Iran to build another nuclear reactor & supply them with missile defense systems now as well.

Things are spiraling out of control while we are being fed lines of BS by our own media & administration to keep the sheep grazing. Sadly the majority of American's will not realize the risk Obama has put us into until it's past the point of no return.

According to reputable news sources (and a few that are not) arms from the US are just now starting to arrive in small quantities. They have been approved for months but you know how government works.

If they are getting help from us, we'll never know it for quite a few years. The CIA and special forces have been running "assistance" missions for many many years.

They were doing fine with terrorists supplied weapons too. Now they have even more. And I'm not so sure I believe we haven't already supplied some arms to them weather it ever comes out or not. It's sad the real information is so muddled in this situation. It's hard to believe half of what we hear in the news & almost impossible to believe anything coming from Washington.

Former U.S. Attorney Joe DiGenova shed new light on the circumstances surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack Monday on WMAL.

DiGenova, legal representative for Benghazi whistleblower Mark Thompson, revealed new information from intelligence officials with knowledge of the incident indicates the assault on the U.S. mission concerned 400 surface-to-air missiles intended for Syrian rebels that were stolen by some “very ugly people.”

Intended for Syrian rebels, and given by whom?
