Been watching Band of Brothers again an episode after work all week. Definately my favorite war related movie/ series. Tried to watch the BOB Pacific and just was not the same.
Love Band of Brothers. Can't seem to be able to watch one episode at a time, so I binge watch a couple times a year.
The Pacific is harder to watch. Seems tougher to like the characters. Try the bluray version with interactive features like historian commentary while watching. I enjoyed it much more that way.

I've said the same for years now. Same for the Dirty Harry movies, they are so anti-PC.

I love all the Dirty Harry movies. There are many Eastwood films that would hardly be considered acceptible nowadays with some of their racial and sexual content. If the rape scene from High Plains Drifter had been filmed 40 years later, heads would have exploded.

Speaking of Dirty Harry, this is one of my favorite Eastwood scenes. :rollingla

I've been thinking about this all afternoon and Just can't narrow it down to one.
Some great ones that haven't been mentioned:
Rio Grande
Stalag 17
To Kill a Mockingbird
The Philadelphia Story
And Bogart movies:
Casablance
To Have and Have Not
Key Largo
Action in the North Atlantic
Sahara

Seems like I enjoy old movies....

Cheyenne Social Club. A great James Stewart and Henry Fonda Classic.
The Green Beret. Typical John Wayne in a patriotic movie during a war the country was against.
The wings of Eagles with John Wayne.
