All eras really alot of WWI and WWII I dont know about medals much the only one i really know is the Blue Max. There is 3 of them and they are all 3 real. Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 medals total. He was just a collector he was an attorney but also sold guns and medals.

Put them up for a local auction with a local auctioneer. They will advertise them for the same price, and I've seen tons of guns go for way more than the market price.
