Its actually more common then youd think. The cast iron pans can be found easily at garage/estate sales or thrift stores. They stack fine and are fairly consistent in weight

Seen them like that for years.
Any cast iron skillet/pot works.
I have a buddy who uses a dutch oven for his bulk.
Of course he cast a heck of a lot of bullets also.
