How do you store that much kraut? I would like to try this.
Can it, or if you eat it fairly often, you can just dip some up out of the crock, and then recover it. If you keep it in a crock, it will need to stay in a cool place, basement, storm cellar, etc.
So what's the difference in "Bavarian Kraut" and regular? I love the Bavarian kind from a can - but plain old kraut is no bueno.
