I just want to build an AK if anyone is interested in that. Maybe we could get an AK build party going along with the AR and 1911 ideas.

I would be very interested in building an AK, Classic firearms have AK parts kit for $299. From what I can see all you need is a receiver and barrel.

I may have a hook up at a machine shop. They are not an FFL though, What is the law on this? I would love a Dubs Chops engraved 1911!

I'd be willing to throw some cash in for machine use if it would help. My only concernnwould be getting a number of blanks together at the same time. If we each ordered separately we could see huge differences in delivery times.

FYI…I'd be in for two.

I saw in a CNC forum some was selling 50% lowers...10 for $200. I'll look and see if I can find it again.
