Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries is a series imported from Down Under Phrynie Fisher is a private detective in 1920s Australia who almost always one-ups the police and nails the bad guy before the constabulary figures out what is going on.

The acting is good and Essie Davis, (Miss Fisher) is very pretty. Her assistant Dot, is cute as well.

Just watched Bad Day at Black Rock, a 1955 film with Spencer Tracy, Robert Ryan, and Walter Brennan, among others.

Excellent film!!

Turner Classic Movies had an Abbott and Costello movie marathon on yesterday. Don't normally have the tv on, but had those movies going while doing my chores. Good stuff.
