The saga continues. :/

My sweet wife has deteriorated so much it's unbelievable. The care home keeps her sedated almost constantly, and now she doesn't seem able to even move her head around, she just sits in a wheelchair staring at her lap.

They feed her breakfast, then knock her out. I didn't let them know I was coming a couple weeks ago, and all I got to do was sit and hold her hand for about 3 hours while she slept and drooled.

She's about 40 minutes away, and I tried to get her in a local home (about 10 minutes away) so I could bring her home for day visits, but they refused to accept her.

Less than 3 months ago, she could walk unassisted and feed herself finger-food (sandwiches, chips, etc.). A few days ago when I talked to her on the phone, she started crying and said she wants to be with me all the time. It just about broke my heart.

So...

I plan to bring her home Monday. I've found a local lady that is going to be "on call" and change her if/as needed. Not sure I can even physically do this, but I have to try. We're both miserable apart.

I may not be around here much, but y'all please keep us (and especially her) in your prayers.
