The filter was changed the first day when I talked with Joe. He had me do some things to the outside unit (his trade secret tricks) to get by till I could get it looked at to make sure I stayed cool. The tech left here about an hour ago and everything seems to be holding steady.

I’ve been nervous as a cat in a dog pound all week pacing back and forth checking the outside unit to see if it froze over again. I’ll still be checking it for the next few days before I feel secure about it.

Joe is a good man.
I agree. When I had trouble in June Joe's advice helped me fix my A/C for $20 (after paying a tech $80 to tell me there was nothing wrong). Lightning put the compressor down for good 3 weeks ago - had a new unit been put in a new unit in June I'd have been very <expletive deleted>.
