Got to hold and dry fire both today. Of the 2, I will say I like the 48 the best.

I also like the 48 better but I didn't handle them with the mags loaded yet.

I don't care for the look or texture of the coating on the slides though.

I will agree. I am not a fan of the silver slide.

I will agree. I am not a fan of the silver slide.

I imagine they will have an all black version at some point and I'm not one to buy a gun right after it comes out so I have no problem waiting until then.

Big Boys has both on display and I did see the 43x on the rental counter. Not sure about the 48.

I've seen where some people picked up the new models yesterday and others are saying their LGS will be letting them go starting on Monday.

It is my understanding they are not supposed to be sold (maybe delivered is a better word) to the end consumer until the 21st. Mine is a Blue Label which will ship the 22nd.

Yes, Monday is the 21st but some were let go by dealers as early as yesterday according to what I've seen on other forums.
