yup i was told only briad line and after getting on top of fish they put a trolling motor half in and half out of the water at slowest speed they say it will keep the fish under the boat IDK???

Yes beating the water works great. We started doing it in 2010 and it stayed quite until last winter when it got out we actually pulled a patten on the blade and we are having it built by sunshine bait tanks.

untitled.jpgYa beeting the water works great but gets tiring after awhile so we made a blade for the trolling motor so that it can run non stop. One we turn ours on in the morning when we start our trips they never get turned off till we get back to the dock. Here is a pic of what we made

Cool! I have a lathe with a milling attachment, and a spare trolling motor. Might have to build one of these. really slow speed, medium, or high?
