You are absolutely correect. Especially when you consider the awesome power and heft of the .50 BMG Razor, you might end up coming out looking like Freddy Krueger got ahold of you if you didn't do some trimmin' first. :)

I'm on it! Nothing slips by me.

Mach 5? I haven't heard of that one. Do you mean the Fusion? It does have 5 blades but it's not interchangable. I've had a few requests for Fusion versions and I'm still working on it so nothing available just yet. Possibly in the future.

I am also going to be releasing some newer handles for the DE such as a 45-120 Sharps and a 45-110 "Quigley Down Under" version. Also coming soon is a lower cost version of the DE head as well sitting on a .375 H&H magnum cartridge. It won't be a Parker, but it's almost the exact form of the old Gillette Tech razors. I've already tested it out and it provides a good shave with an entry price of around $20-$25. I might have a few of them at the Wanenmacher's show but I expect they'll sell out quickly.

A quigley down under razor would be awesome. I would have to get one of those for my gpa as that is one of his fav movies.

Ya the Parkers are known for being somewhat aggressive on all the models from what I understand.

I'll have to check on the exacts of this model. It's very similar to a Feather in construction and finish and it's literally the exact curve of the old Techs. Very good, smooth and solid plating on it. Not as much heft and bulk in the metal as the Parker, but then again neither were the Gillettes. So far I really like using it. I threw a cheap Wilkenson's blade in it from Wal-Mart and it's performing like a champ.

I'm also exploring the idea of refurbishing some old Gillettes. I have a few of them around and if I can accomplish it in a way that maintains the quality, I'll start making those available as well.

OH! And brushes on are part of the master plan too...

If you ever need a test dummy let me know. I have some stuff in my cart online as I need a new brush, and its probably about time to order some more blades as well, was waiting to click checkout till I got home and confirmed what I have. I was gonna put a lot of that stuff on my christmas list as well for stocking stuffers, some aftershave, shave sticks or creams I would like to try. I dont know why, but this stuff is addicting like flashlights. and yeah the WS blades arent bad. Glad walmart brought something back as they quite carrying them for while (was Persona back then).

Will do! Yes, I keep bouncing the idea around in my head about whether or not I could make a specialty shave shop here in Tulsa work. I think the market is here for it and we literally have slim to no pickings to choose from in retail here.

So! Back to topic. I would love to go shaveless for the month, but I look like an absolute bum two weeks in and that's when I need to look presentable for the Wanenmacher's show. Maybe I could start the Monday after?

Remember, Movember doesnt mean you cant shave at all. You can trim, style, rock a soul patch, mustache, whatever. No-shave November is a little stricter group, but I dont think everyone recognizes that (just learned that, an actual group, not just some sort of social protest).

Clean shaved, Oct. 31st. Already have a pretty good scruff going on. Sad part is I have to shave for my buddies wedding on the 12th but after that I get to start again.
