Didn't make it out this morning. First time in something like 40 years I've missed opening day of MZ season. Was unloading the truck and stepped on a walnut. Rolled the ankle and pulled a muscle or somethin in the hip. Ankle didn't sprain, but the muscle in the hip sure hurts. Decided to stay home today on a heat pad and bio-freeze.

That sucks. Hope you heal up soon. I don’t think you missed much. Deer didn’t seem to move well at all.

My youngest daughter and I were out on our Piedmont lease this morning. I saw 3 little bucks and 7 doe/fawns. She saw 5 doe/fawns and one that was unidentifiable just before shooting light. About to head back out now. She wants this guy.

Small bucks were here at 3:55 to eat already. Pretty nice out.

I’ve euthanized a couple horses that had less physical issues than you do right now...

I sure hope your back up and going soon.
