Back when I worked in Albuquerque I made like 6 trips up to Alaska. Really enjoyed it up there. Made almost as many trips to Seattle.

Got to go up to Nome and Fairbanks too. Interesting places. :)

I'd love to have a summer place up there. Not so much in the winters other than the Ketchikan area. Temps there aren't much different that here in the spring other than the 14 feet of rain every year.

Senate hearing going on now..............opening speaker said he was eager for a bipartisan update and meeting on how things have gone and to look at information that will be the best for the country as we proceed. Senator Murray from Washington spent her time slaying Trump lol, so much for the bipartisan part.

The country is going to come out of this thing because of what we as individuals do, not because of Washington.

Verb
bloviate (third-person singular simple present bloviates, present participle bloviating, simple past and past participle bloviated)

  1. (US) To speak or discourse at length in a pompous or boastful manner.
Usage notes
Particularly used of politicians, bloviate has passed in and out of fashion over the centuries, falling out of fashion by end of 19th century, but was popularized in the early 1920s with reference to president Warren G. Harding, again in the 1990s,[3] and then once more during the 2000 presidential election.[4]

Yep - And her first question of the witnesses continued along the same lines.

Yes, she bitched about Trump and the Federal government not doing more and taking more federal action. But, a week or so ago when Trump said he had the final word on when states could reopen or not, the Dems bitched and said he wasn't a dictator and the governors had that power to reopen or not. They can't seem to make up their minds, feds are all powerful or states rights.
