OK Rut Report

Have yet to see road kill in my area. Checked one cam this evening, and Nov 3-5 showed incredible buck movement, day and night. Each day since, there's been less and less buck pics.

I hunted this morning and evening. Saw a 1.5 yr old chasing a doe in the morning. Had two 2.5 yr olds come in checking does this evening. Oakwood this morning, Watonga this evening.

Almost constant buck movement this morning. 1 shooter but never could get him to stop for a shot.

From camera activity, the bucks are "trolling" pretty intently for does, but I also have pictures of two 3-4 year old bucks eating with does at a feeder this morning.

Tomorrow is the day. Cold front plus 30.4 pressure. Best be in stand in the morning and sit until you kill something.

My camera's are showing mixed results. Some blurs of does bolting, and a small buck in the next pic.
Then more showing feeding together. Mid to late next week will be golden for the start of full rut if past history holds true.

I had a late start today getting into the stand. I was talking to a contractor when 3 does bolted out of my North bottom with a buck in hot pursuit. Later 6 does and yearlings came into my feeder with this buck again running them around the pasture. His hocks were wet it appeared. This boy was intent.

Saw two nice bucks chasing a hot doe Thursday evening . . . never came within bow range though. Wasn't able to get out yesterday or today.
