Wonder if Alex Grinch is still in the running for a head coaching position somewhere since he led the great turnaround in OU's defense this year? This is the worse ass kicking OU has taken in many years, surely they won't keep squeaking into the playoff every year after this performance today.
Every time I look up LSU has the ball.
Every time I look up they score.
And scoring.
A lot of good teams have taken an "ass kicking" from LSU this year.
It does make me wonder how long the big money boosters in Norman will tolerate losing in the semi-finals every year as OU has done the last 4 years? Had Baker, Kyler, Jalen and still lost.
I still think OU and the coaches have done a very good job this year and tonight OU had to rely on in-experienced players against the best QB in college this year.
Bama had a 10-2 Record and it was seen as a dismal season by the fans and the press. There are a ton of colleges that would love a 10 - 2 record but unfortunately a lot of folks have set the expectations too high for teams like Bama and OU.
The Big 12 is a Power 5 Conference so OU will be in the running every year to make the CFB playoffs and especially if the playoffs are expanded to 8 teams.
