I too have an AK-V, like @OK Corgi Rancher and it's the most fun gun I own, to shoot. Yeah she's a hefty one, but all the better to keep you warm on those cold nights. Well built, it simply doesn't give me problems.

Yes, she is. When you want to accessorize her you need to look in the Lane Bryant catalog.

I have two PCCs. First is a Ruger. Main reason for it is the Wife. She’s not a big fan of ARs. The base line model has traditional rifle stock that she found very comfortable. She has since changed to the Magpul Backpacker stock and honestly I’ve been a fan of that stock also. We run the Glock mag adapter as I have stupid amount of glocks. I run an older Lone Wolf “pistol” AR style. It has a 10.5” barre with a heavy quad rail forearm. I run a suppressor on it with great suppression of 147gr and sometimes 124gr (depending on weather/temperature).

Both have Vortex 2MOA red dots and Streamlight weapon lights on them for identification of targets as needed.

I got into the AR style PCC as I’ve had a lot of training on ARs and I dig the ability to reach out a little farther with the same caliber as my sidearm and use same magazines in pinch. The wife likes her PCC as less recoil than rifle calibers and manipulation is easier for her as she hasn’t had the training on AR style rifles like I have.

In long run, get what you like and shoot and train with it.
Had to take some photos of the Ruger with the Magpul stock I have. Thought would add them for reference

I wish 5.7x28 was cheaper. There are a lot of options now, Ruger PCC, FN PS90, Panther Arms AR57 uppers, CMMG Banshee, probably others.
The caliber was stuck for a while due to combination of high price and very limited firearm choices. Half of that problem has been solved. I hope now more demand will lead to more suppiy and lower cost per round.

My daughter shoots a JP Enterprise GMR-15. She’s indifferent about it but I really enjoy it as a plinker. I would really like to shoot their new JP-5 roller delayed which is similar in operation to a MP5.

This is my daughters rifle on the bottom.

I went a long time without owning one at all , then ended up with two a PS90 and a Uberti Yellow Boy . They are fun little guns and hand companions for the handgun of the same caliber for critters and such.
like i said in my earlier post, you can drill over and over and over and over with a pistol and a pcc and you will be perform better with the pcc than the pistol the overwhelming majority of the time.

and this is true of any shooter of any skill; just due to the inherently more stable platform.

i've tested this myself countless times and there's simply nothing a pistol does better than a short barreled pcc other than ride on your hip. anyone i also got to perform any drill consistently performed better with a pcc. everyone does.
