I work in Natural Gas. Looks like we are getting bonuses this year.
I work on the regulatory and consulting side with the federal govt and their red tape (Obtaining Pipeline ROWs, Drilling Permits etc for our clients...) and if Goldman Sachs latest forecasts come through it would be a damn nice trade off from this time last year.

I just had 462 gallons of propane delivered at $2.30 a gallon.

A side note - my propane supplier never waits for a call. He services 3 rural counties and nobody has to call. He somehow manages to know when his customers tanks are down about 85% and just arrives, fills, and leaves.
Propane is made from Crude Oil. although natural gas prices will be effected by Propane prices, we still control natural gas prices in our country! The first day Biden was in office, he did away with President Trumps policies that made us, ENERGY INDEPENDENT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MANY DECADES! BE ENERGY INDEPANT MEANS, WE PRODUCE MORE CRUDE OIL THAN WE NEED, AND ARE NOT DEPENDENT ON ANYONE FOR IMPORTED CRUDE OIL. That means since we are the world's largest consumer of crude oil products, OPEC can't raise crude oil prices. When the democrats shut down the very things that made us energy indepant, pipeline construction, drilling and production of oil on some federal land, and many more things, all in the name of the environment, and phony global warming, ( do you think crude oil produced and /or refined in a foreign country effects global warming less, than crude oil produced and/or refined in America?) That atuomatially gave CONTROL OF WORLD CRUDE OIL PRICES BACK TO OPEC, REMEMBER THE 70'S? GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? Bench mark Crude Oil was $32.00 per bbl, on election day, Nov. 8th, 2020, today it is $75.00 per bbl, more than doubled in 10 months! Watch as OPEC cut supplies of Crude Oil until it reaches at least 150.00 per bbl, as it was before President Trump took office! That equates to $5.00+ per gallon gasoline, and Diesel Fuel, as well as the more than doubling of everything made from Crude Oil, including Propane! They are already having fuel shortages and long lines at service stations in England, and other places! ENJOY WHAT YOU VOTED FOR, BY NOT VOTING!!

Propane is fractionated from natural gas wells. Although natural gas can be a byproduct of oil wells.

Crude Oil and Natural Gas are two different things! Fractionation towers are used to process Crude Oil. That is what attachment 225537 shows. Figure 225540, and 225541 shows the typical composition of Natural Gas. Natural Gas has trace amounts of other eliments in it, and that veries greatly depending on what regon it comes from. The VAST Majority of Propane, Propalene, Pintane, Normal Butane, Iso Butaine, Casing Head, Natral Gasoline, etc. is drived from fracking Crude oil. Looking up charts you don't understand don't make you an exxpert!

I spent 26 years working in the oil industry.
Interesting. I guess you didn't work in the natural gas industry.

Propane from Natural Gas

Propane is extracted from liquid components during natural gas processing. To remove propane from natural gas, hydrocarbons are fractionated and absorbed in oil, which is followed by adsorption to surface-active agents or refrigeration. Hydrocarbons such as butane and propane are removed from natural gas in part to prevent condensation in natural gas pipelines. Unprocessed natural gas consists of about 90 percent methane and only 5 percent propane, but about half of the propane used in the United States comes from natural gas processing. Propane is 270 times denser as a liquid than as a gas, and therefore the extracted propane is stored and transported as a liquid. Because propane is colorless and odorless, an odorant is added for detection.

Propane from Oil Refining

At various stages during the oil-refining process, liquefied petroleum gases are produced. Two major constituents of these liquefied gases are butane and propane, which constitute about 1–4 percent of processed crude oil. A major step in the production of propane is fractional distillation under pressure, or stabilization. During this stage, heavier hydrocarbons sink to the bottom, whereas lighter hydrocarbons such as propane are easily removed from the top layer of the mix. The amount of propane obtained depends in part on the type and setup of the oil refinery.
