Hoping someone in real estate could give me a clue as to how something like this can happen,I'll try to keep it short.

In 2001 a quit claim deed is signed, notarized, and filed. 9 years later the property is sold by the individual who already transferred the property away in 2001. During the sale the abstract and title search don't turn up the quit claim deed on file.

Stamped with the "Official Seal" of the register of deeds, also time and date stamped.
