Used to be an iga in okc that everyone that came into the jail from had a medical release. Didn't realize why until I walked in to grab some stuff one night and watched them beat a thiefs a$$. No warning, no option to surrender, just sucked punched him and did a little dance on him. I asked about it later and was told that it was policy, and cut down on repeat offenders...

So why lie and say plumbing problems? Why spin some crazy story and the same story for all 5 stores?

Because WalMart has been the Goliath on the block for several decades and is too arrogant to admit their deficiencies. Sam Walton created an awesome business model but the current management is destroying it little by little. Make no mistake, WalMart is hurting. Consumers are sick of their s#$% and other retailers have stepped up and are kicking their a$$. Really, how many people do you hear say "I like WalMart" vs. "I F'n Hate WalMart"?

As far as the Admiral store closing? One only had to go there once to observe the clientele and tell that they certainly had plumbing problems. Reverse flow. Unpaid goods going out, no cash flowing in.

Concerning the conspiracy theory that the Admiral store is being closed in order to become a government food distribution center. It already was a government food distribution center.

It's clear from some of the responses that most people here have never stepped foot in the Admiral Walmart. I shopped in that Walmart for years when I lived in the area. I can tell you this, I have had better service and faster check out service from this Walmart than any other. They may have an internal theft problem, but I can guarantee you, the loss prevention stopped and detained shoplifters at this location. I'm quite sure the people I have seen being escorted out in cuffs didn't turn themselves in voluntarily.

It's funny how some people are scared of the lower class. It would probably be shocking to know that middle and upper class areas have the same problems.

Hmmm...I've never seen anybody arrested/detained for theft at a Wal Mart....however I did know a fellow that worked at Wal Mart got busted for helping others steal from the store...

Why would Wal Mart plot a cover story?...Probably crappy plumbing...Probably to foil the unions...probably to get rid of some thieves that might sue the store otherwise...maybe Wal Mart bought Target!!..The bad plumbing stores come back as Targets....

I figure the reality of it is to get rid of thieves....and remodel the bathrooms...

I haven't been to Walmart in over a year. I will never go back. You all should free yourselves from the Cancer of the South. It's quite liberating.
