Wife and I just booked a hunt with these guys:

Wife has wanted to do it for a long time so I finally said F it and spent the money. Supposed to go Jan 2-3.

There's quite a few birds here now. Wonder why they want you to use steel shot?

Aren't you supposed to use steel shot on all migratory birds? Aren't cranes migratory?

Waterfowl yes, but like doves, cranes are just migratory.....unless that's changed?

You don't have to have the Federal Waterfowl stamp to hunt cranes unless that's changed.
Surely you don't have to use steel shot for dove these days? I'm even more confused than I was.
I hope I don't know anybody who's breaking the law, and I hope I'm not wearing his britches.

Still legal to use lead on dove and cranes even though some WMA’s require steel shot for everything. Check your regs before going to any public land. The rules can be different from one to another

I've heard of them but don't have any experience with them personally. Ya'll will have a great time, Im addicted to crane hunting now.
