Closeest store that sells shotgun shell is 35 miles away and of course they only had bird shot 1oz 6 1/2 shot better than nothing I guess till I can get somewhere else or order some

Patterning your shotgun is a good idea to find your POA/POI and to see how much your shot pattern opens up over distance. The Federal 00 8 pellet loads with the Flight Control wad keep a pretty tight pattern in most guns.

Multipurpose? For HD/SD shotgun-wise I keep a Winchester 1897 Takedown made in 1937 with a factory Cyl Bore loaded with 2 3/4” 00 Buck. What threw me was you’re including the word “property”. If it’s something other than human critters I may change my answer.
