Remington 870 Police Magnum from the early 90’s. You cannot tell in the pic, but this is the factory OD green version. I remember seeing one in the pawn shop I worked at back then in college but I was poor and couldn’t afford it at the time. Picked this one up some years later.

Have some choices at my house. Could use my Beretta 686 but it's too handsome of a gun for around the house. Have a Mossberg 590A1, a Stoeger Coach Gun Supreme tuned by Jack Finch and a Win M12 that was made in 1925.
The one I keep loaded 24/7 is the Coach Gun. Don't have to worry about short cycling, mag spring crapping out ... it's short and handy around tight areas.
The Win M12 was my late father's. VERY wide open choked which was the school of thought way back when ... spread the pellets out. The opposite of that is the Mossberg 590A1. Very tight choke. Using Fed LE 00 Buck with their Flight Control wads, it will put all nine pellets in a 3.5" group at 25 yards.
