No, it doesn’t feel “weird”. Some of the many colors have a metallic look, some do have what is like a very slight

texture...maybe... like it reminded me of a Parkerized gun. The Titanium Blue this pistol started off as was a Sig factory cerakote job.

Check out the pic of the frame; you can see that it isn’t slick, like a blued gun is. You can see (well, I can) that is does have a slight texture to it. See?

Yeah, you’re right. That was kinda harsh. This is better, I think...Maybe it won’t be mistaken for a Kimber once I get that nasty blue color off and get a proper color applied.

I like my SIG 229, except that it tends to shift in my hands when I shoot it. That's one reason that I prefer wheelguns.

Welp, got my frame cerakoted in “Tungsten” at Black Label Armament, 6810 NW 10th Cd

Good feller Named Clint Black owns the place and I think he did a fine job; I’m very happy with his work. Also , I put a set of Hogue G-10’s on it. Lemme tell you; this is one accurate, hardworking pistol. I like it.
