Springfield XDM 45 for winter and subcompact 40 for summer. If'n they woulda had a subcompact 45 that's what I'd be carrying in summer.
You mean like this one?
They're out there, you know!

Not when I bought mine. It's a MOD 1 I guess you would call it.
Funny, there just isn't much love for the XD's. In my opinion they have the capacity I always wanted in a 1911, and the grip angle of my beloved 1911, and the grip safety of the 1911, and they don't weigh a ton like the 1911, so what's not to like?
Because you can't set 'em down on a coffee table if'n you're vacuuming the floor.
AD= Accidental Discharge
ND= Negligent Discharge
XD= Coffee Table Discharge
Same experience here but with the S&W M&P series. I really, really wanted it to work for me. They look great and hey, they are S&W's. But no matter which grip I tried all the lumps and bumps were simply in the wrong places. Tried the service and subcompact size, they just didn't work for me. So I staid with glock. A couple years later a gun store guy talked me into holding an HK P30. It felt like it was made just for me, it was perfect! Still think M&P's are among the top tier but I figure a person needs to be honest with themselves when it comes to a carry weapon.
i would be interested in that g 48 I'm in south tulsaI have a g48 with a 15 rd mag. I wish I had gone with a 365, G43, Springfield Hellcat, etc. it’s just bigger than I want for daily carry.
