It has certainly been a wet July across a lot of the state. It's wild seeing Lawton not in drought status at this point in the year.

I've been forgetting to mow before the rains.....it provides me a couple more days under the AC.

Mowing is one of my simple pleasures every spring. I mow twice a week and enjoy every moment of it. I also enjoy when the lawn goes summer dormant and stops growing when it's hot like this lol.

I have gotten about 6.5 inches over the last couple weeks out here in east Shawnee/Earlsboro area. I can’t believe it. But I am thankful for it. I don’t have to go out and move my water hoses around for a little while. My grass is doing great though.

I'm not really complaining, I just can't remember this much rain this time of year.
