This seems to be a trendy thing to say these days. Can't help but wonder if those saying it would be so cavalier if they had to be okay with the idea THEY might be one of the ones to go.... painfully..

I'll take my chances. My tribe has endured the plague, smallpox, Spanish flu....I have to believe that the repeated cycles of disease/survival are part of evolution. We've interfered with survival of the fittest for generations now, but Mother Nature will fix that one of these days. If my tribe did not win the genetic lottery, well, we're all destined for the grave sooner or later anyway.
