All I want back is the exact amount stolen from me. Since it is likely that the entire ponzi scheme is going to be trashed before that happens, I'm doing what I can today to get by tomorrow without ever seeing a return of my stolen property and simply consider it a loss. :(

Does it come from the SS fund or does it come from the separate SSI Disablity fund?

Hobbes is a 100% correct.

Why don't all you self-reliant, pull yourself up by your boot straps, no body deserves anything types give up your SS benefits? Put your money where your mouth is.

I would love to. Unfortunately, I don't really have a say in how much FICA taxes are deducted from my paycheck

I don’t collect Social Security, and likely will never get the opportunity.
Besides – money has been forcefully removed from my paycheck for the last 28 years to supplement my retirement; why would I decline that which is rightfully owed to me if and when it’s available when I retire?

I agree. I've been in the workforce for 46 years, and have contributed to my retirement fund involuntarily. I want my money back.
Should it go insolvent, I have pulled my selfup by the bootstraps, and can retire comfortably on my savings, investments and 401K.
Living debt free for 12 years now, helps that fund as well.

That makes it sound more like medicaid and medicare than OAS/DI. Do you have any other information on the subject?
